new met museum

There is a very good flash animation provided by NYTimes.

The Metropolitan Museum's new Greek and Roman Galleries
The reopening of the Greek and Roman galleries in the Metropolitan Museum of Art is the culmination of a 15-year, $220 million project. The galleries house art created between 900 B.C. and the early fourth century A.D.

wave, reflection, and the sound of frog

I just remember that the artist was a japanese.
There were five video work, and they are displayed separately
along maze-like space. In the very last cuticle (a dead end),
the light is almost gone, and I faced with this work,
in which only small space of wavy water is visible ..
and the sound of frogs.. Nobody has come while
I was watching this whole movie.... and steal it with my cam

2007/03/25
I'm pretty sure that this space is the most loved spot in MOMA.
Just standing there makes you feel that you are a part of a modern art project.
It's just hilarius!!

A violin prodigy, Caroline Goulding, won 2006 Aspen Violin Competition.

I came across her appearance in NPR radio. Without knowing her age, the unbalance between her young voice and her mature violin play evoked me some interest. It turned out she is just 13 years old. How old am I??? and what can i do like that?...

Visit her webpage
or listen to her play and speak in npr radio station.
